Introduction to Rehai Scenic Area
Rehai Baoshan is a mountain range located in Yunnan Province, China, located between the Lancang River and the Nujiang River, and belongs to the remnant of the Hengduan Mountains. The area is famous for its volcanic landform and geothermal resources, covering the Tengchong Cenozoic extinct volcanic group and more than 180 hot springs, of which the Tengchong Rehai Hot Spring has significant bathotherapy value. The mountain has a mild climate with an average annual temperature of 15-21℃, making it suitable for growing cash crops such as flue-cured tobacco, coffee, and mangoes. Mineral resources include ferrotitanium, lead and zinc, and natural gas with reserves of more than 1 billion cubic meters, and the hydropower development potential reaches 2.8 million kilowatts. Gaoligong Mountain ** Nature Reserve preserves more than 1500 species of higher plants and more than 140 species of wild animals, and is known as the "Species Gene Bank".
Baoshan is the main hometown of overseas Chinese in Yunnan, with overseas Chinese distributed in 22 countries. Historical relics such as the Anti-Japanese War Sites in Western Yunnan and the War Cemetery are preserved in the territory, which have both educational and tourism functions. The integration of natural and cultural landscapes covers characteristic attractions such as Tengchong Volcano and Heshun Overseas Chinese Hometown, forming a unique tourism system.
